Husband of Niurka Barrientos Fernández, our family consists of a son, two daughters, a daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law, 5 grandchildren: 3 boys and 2 girls.

After having lived a life without God a slave to sin. He came to me, our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom I accepted the grace of him at the age of 36. Since then I have served him in the local church as: administrator, men’s group president, teacher of baptismal candidates and leader of the house of worship.

‍

After recovering from a serious illness that put my life in danger in which God was glorified., the Lord brought us to this little town where by his grace I serve him as a church pastor. Because of the characteristics of the place, we develop our missionary vision through cell and outreach discipleship to people who cannot go to the "temple" or house of worship due to age and distance.

‍

I learned about Calvary Chapel 5 years ago, at the beginning of the ministry and we aligned ourselves with its distinctives, especially with the verse-by-verse teaching, which we practice.

‍

Today we work with Net Builder materials, One Step to Freedom bringing to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ to people who have been captive in all kinds of addictions, especially alcoholism.

‍

We give thanks to the Lord for working through us and bringing glory to his kingdom, knowing that we are nothing more than useless servants, by his grace, his fidelity, his love... We attribute to Him who is the only one worthy, all the glory, honor, praise, exaltation and worship.
